Trans Slippage Question
Can the trans shift good at all times but slip in overdrive?
I don't notice anything unusual but on hills it seems to slow down at steady RPM's.
Or is something else going on?

It shifts fine, but seems to slip in overdrive.
Yes I did drain the convertor.
No ugly stuff in the pan.
Wondering if there was something that controlled converter lock-up.

did you use correct fluid? what brand?
is it full when you check it warmed up?
was filter installed with o-ring and pushed up correctly?
try resetting the computer.
is the button on shifter working correctly?

Valvoline Dexron III/Mercon
Trans Filter installed with o-ring and pushed all the way in, original filter fell out in the pan.
Computer was reset when trans fliud was changed, I put a new o-sensor in at same time.
Push button works and light doesn't flash.
I just chcked the fluid, it is approx a 1/4" little over full.
