This isn't exactly a forum specific question...it could go anywhere, but since this is where I live (so far as FTE is concerned), I thought I'd post it here.
I've got some stainless steel trim (not on my truck, but on another project) which is in great shape--straight, no dents, no major scratches or anything--BUT it's completely dull. It appears to have been sitting out doors its entire life.
So here's the question: Anybody know how best to polish out SS? I'm no stranger to the buffer. I use one just about every day at work. I've thought about using it on the SS, but my compounds and pads are meant for paint, and I'm not sure how they would do on the SS.
