Question Front Brake Help

I am replacing the front brake rotors and pads on my 97 F150 4X4. I have been told by the local ford dealership that the rotors just come off after you remove the caliper mount. I have removed the caliper mount and the rotors do not seem to want to be removed. Any idea what I can try next to remove the rotors, or is there a hub that needs to be removed first.

Any help with this would be helpful.

do you know if the wheelbearing is housed inside of the rotor? if it is then you need to pop off the metal cap and then take all that stuff apart to get the rotor off.

No I do have a seperate rotor and hub assembly. What ended up working for me is a large 3 arm pully. I used the impact wrench with the pully and the air impact was about to stop POP whent the rotor.

Thanks for your help.

American ingenuity.... Get a bigger hammer... I just did my '00 yesterday.. Soak the thing with wd-40, then get a dead blow hammer or a big rubber mallet... it'll come off... no hubs to remove.
