parts compatability
I have a 97 explorer limited. What years can I interchange parts with?

Question's too broad -- it would depend on what part/system you're looking at. In general, a '97 is considered 2nd generation, which includes '95 to '01. These years share some things in common, but automakers never make things 100% interchangeable. What specifically are you looking for?

For those two - 95-97. 98+ had different pigtails for the mirrors themselves, but the control switch is the same for 95-01...
