Speaker Crackling

I have a crackling noise in speakers with radio off and engine off. Any ideas? Have an aftermarket amp and speakers factory head unit. 2005 Sd

Sounds to me like your amp isn't shutting off. Where do you have the remote wired to? And does it do it all the time, or until you open the door?
