What this pipe lead to?
Today I began (will finish tomorrow) my 4" magnaflow catback installation and while at it I decided to permanently disable my EGR. So I removed the up-pipe and completely cutted the EGR cooler exit and completely removed the "yikes" cup inside the up pipe that lead to egr cooler. Then I got it welded and it now look like a normal pipe and made a cap to block off the egr cooler from exterior air.
Then I noticed the egr cooler pipe split to a smaller pipe that goes into the center of the engine block. Is this some kind of check valve that act as PCV?

Is this what your refering to? Coolant flows from the block through the oil cooler then to your EGR cooler.
