A question

When was the first year Ford F-100 had independent front suspension?

A question

The F100 had a straight axle up to '64. Twin-I beam was introduced in '65. I think twin-i beam was used up to about 94 or so (my '89 ranger has it). The heavier trucks (f350) didn't get twin-i untill 67 (I think, correct me if I'm wrong)

A question

Hey thanks for the info, I just bought a 65 stepside and noticed the twin I beams, and my plan is to lift it but all the kits start with 66. So I was wondering what the difference was

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 02-Apr-02 AT 06:18 PM (EST)]FORD DID A MODEL CHANGE IN MID 65 AND SOME OF THE EARLY 65 HAVE A SINGLE AXEL THE LATER ONES HAVE THE TWIN I.



FORDS WILL BE RUNNING LONG AFTER THE GENERAL MOTORS JUNK IS ON THE SCRAP HEAP!
