Upper radiator hose

What year did they change the routing to go around the belt and under the Alt rather than through the belt

I'm not sure about year or if it even was a year thing. As far as I know it was a 1 alternator vs. 2 alternator thing. The around the belt hose is for dual alternators.

Hey Alan, I went to Oreillys auto parts in P-ville and got mine. Just ask for the upper radiator hose for a 2002 with dual alternators. Auto Zone was out, they might have it in stock now though.

They ran the hose around the belt in 99 but in 2000 they started running inside the belt cause ford saved like .25 cents a hose this way.But also tell the parts store dual alts. will work too.
