Question Edge A2 Mounting Issues

I've got the Edge A2 in-cab controller mounted on the bottom left side of the wndshield on my 2001 Excursion PSD... The factory supplied suction-cup mount works, but occasionally falls off the window due to heat inside the truck. There has to be a better, more professional / clean mounting option? I called Edge about a month ago, asking if they made molded A-pillar mounts, but they explained that the unit was too large and heavy to be mounted other than the suction cup crappy mount. Anyone have the same problem, or "the perfect solution" ??

I have the edge juice with attitude monitor an I just mounted it on the ledge right below the headlight switch with velcro. Its out of the way and I can see it clearly.

The Attitude monitor comes with many options for mounting... I've got the Edge A2 monitor (the one with GPS Navigation and backup camera) -- I really hate this suction cup deal!

My Outlook monitor came with a bracket to mount to the windshield the same way a rear view mirror. Maybe you could find one of these brackets and glue it. I don't know for sure if will work but worth a shot.

Might not be a good idea if you still have warranty to do any "permanent" mounting though.
