Ok guys I got a new problem with my door i bought some hinges and put them into my truck because my door wasnt working. I have a 66' Ford F-100. now i got a new problem one of the bolts that are in the door that the door bolts is turning now and i cant tighten it down so what do i do? Another problem is that i have the upper rear part of the door rubing on the cab. So i was wondering what i could do to fix these problems?? Anyone who has any information please post something? Thanks Alot Brannon!!
I had the same problem on my cab with the drivers door after I had changed my drivers door to another door. It touched on the back top of the cab, I could not adjust the door ahead any more so I did the next best thing I spread the door opening a little bid. After I did this there was room to adjust the door for proper fit and alingment Eric
Try taking out the interior kick panel black vent assembly. You may be able to get a vise grip on that spinning tack-welded bolt thru this opening. These weak tac-welded bolts wreak havoc all over these trucks! Stick a shop vac hose down the opening, you will be surprised at the sheer amount of debris that has probally collected down inside there1
