Drag races
I'm heading out on Saturday early so I can back my truck up to the fence at the 1/8 mile. If anyone is heading out, ill be there in a white ford super crew with POW City on the door. Ask for Eric as there will be the twin to my truck there as well.

Races were awesome again!!! They had a 71 ford pickup racing, who made it to the semi finals. a 56 t-bird one the top fuel funny car series. Lots of mustangs racing all night. They had two AA top fuel cars there that ran over 200mph, and they were scary to watch, they were all over the place. The two jet cars put on a huge fire show, It take them about 2minutes to stage, and the whole time they keep blasting fire ***** out the back of the cars, they ran 280+mph. They had to spray down the bottom of the announcing booth with water before the jets staged, and when they ran the guy's in the booth had to hold the windows from pushing in. Was a good night of racing and no accidents, or blown engine's ON the track.

Sounds like a great time. What did the 71 Ford F100 run for times? Any Mustangs win their class? 
It`s good that there weren`t any accidents or blown engines, it gets very expensive very quick.

We figured the civic blown up, just as he finished the 1/4 mile. The marshal did a quick run to the end and racing continued. Last year with the two crashes and some guy with a leaking tranny, the races dragged way out. They spent over an hour cleaning the track each time. The civic looked funny with wides on the front and pizza cutters on the rear.
