I know this has been done to death but one more time...LT265/75/R16/E for a 2000 F350, reg cab.
Firestone is having a sale this week, Transforce AT can be had for 700 out the door and REVOs for $4 more a tire. Are there any big advantages or disadvantages to either? I don't plow.
Anything else that stands out for less? (Cooper ATRs?)
For my money you can't beat the Dueler A/T Revo. I have them on my wifes Expy and they were the best tire I have ever driven in the snow last winter. I had BFG All Terrain TAs on my 005 F-250, but just changed to Revos on that one too. The BFGs in the 265/70/17 were only a load range C tire and just had a funny, kind of soft feeling all the time. This was running them at 45 lbs. pressure, tried the max of 50 and it didn't seem to make much differencen. Noticed an immediate difference with the REVOS. More solid, confident ride.
