Doors Staining The Paint
I have a new white Screw. On the doors, there are black streaks that form under the door handles. I don't know if its dirty rain water or the seals around the handles that are causing this. I wash it regularly, but they are still there. Is this happening to anyone else, or am I looking at a dealer fix?

Mine does the same thing. I posted on this some time ago. One of the responses was that perhaps during the dealer make ready, they use some type of coating/protectant/black on the door handles. I keep mine washed and waxed, but haven't really done anything to the handles.
Haven't noticed it recently however, we're in the middle of a full fledged drought right now so we haven't had rain to cause the streaks. And it does seem to be rain that does it.

On my white truck, i get the same thing after it rains. Don't know what it is, and it only seems like they are there after it rains. comes off easy, so i usually just wipe off after a rain. I would like to know what is causing this and if it will ever go away.

I noticed this on all white trucks I looked at on dealers lots. I order a white one anyhow. Mine has never produced these marks in the almost three yrs. i have it??/Go figure?????I'm happy....
