Injectors, One Or All?

1999 F-250 POWERSTROKE, going into the shop this morning. Having the injector on number 5 cyl. replaced along with all the glo plugs on that side. For about
$200 more I can have the other 3 injectors on that side replaced. 130k miles
What is the best bet?????? as always, my thanks

If your real handy with tools u can probably do it yourself at a fraction of the
cost. This place: LINK can set u up with a nice set of injectors. Mr Bean is an expert and is highly recommended here at FTE. Go to the 1999-2003 PSD forum
and ask around for more info.

I am unable to do this work. I know it will cost three times what it should. I just want to know if I should replace the other 3 injectors. thanks, Jerry

If you are not going to do all 8, then don't bother unless there is a problem with them as well. Just replace the offender and it will be fine.

I have a 2000 7.3 with one faulty injector. What is the best way to determine which one is the culprit. I suspect it is on the right bank but can't pinpoint which one it is .

Best way is to find someone with a scanner and run a cylinder contribution test. This will 90% of the time find the cylinder thats causing the problem. Other then that you would have to pull the vc and unplug the injs one at a time to find with one is not contributing the same as the rest.
