Disconnect EEC w/ KOEO + Battery Connected??

But really, I know that the computor will be toast if you do this with the motor running. It always says in instructions to disconnect the battery before disconnecting anything electrical.
A couple of times I accidently disconnected my EEC with the key on and battery connected without thinking.
That is why I ask this.
