Quick Question

I installed the Roush cat back exhaust and during the install on my 06 SC I noticed that the pipe from the cat back to the inlet pipe on the muffler is like squished for a lack of a better word in the middle now I know it's a factory thing because it's on both sides of the pipe, any of you boys or girls seen this? I would assume that it's that way to provide back pressure? would it be better to replace that section of pipe with another which is completly round? has anyone on here done that? sorry for all the question but i wanted some advise before I go to the muffler shop and procure a replacement pipe. seems like a wate to have Shorty header and an exhaust when this squished pipe is right between both systems.

BTW great site been lurking for a long time.

You are right. If there are no clearance issues, I would replace that section.

Same opinion here, it will be the restriction in the system if you don't.

Did ya get it, and is it installed as of yet? Just curious as to what you think of it.
