Turbo and Pedestal bolt questions?

My pedestal to block was no where near 18 lbs of torque during removal. Much higher? Altho my turbo to pedestal bolts were both finger loooooose?

I have seen some say use Blue thread locker and some that say never seeze?

At 18lbs for both, am I correct to use a medium (Blue) thread locker for both the pedestal to block and turbo bolts to pedestal since its torqued at 18 lbs?

In advance! Thanks!

breaking the factory loctite stuff loose was probably what made it feel like more than 18 lb ft. never use anti-seize, it is only torqued to 18 pounds and it isn't a high friction or a bolt that is needed to be removed several times.

make sure to use new seals too!

Stokin is right, when I broke mine loose I could unscrew the bolts by hand as well.

So Loooooose

My Turbo to Pedestal bolts were backed out or loose by at least a full turn and a half? It turns out that that was my leak. Should have reached over and grabbed the Turbo bolts by hand????? I just figured my EBPV was leaking from what I could see by using a flashlight and a mirror.
