Quad XZT problem
I've had the XZT module for about a month now and have really liked it until this morning.
On my way to work I was sitting at a stop light when all of a sudden the truck started bucking and snorting like a pissed of bull. Smoke was billowing out the tail pipe like I've never seen. Engine sounded like it was under a heavy load when I tried to accelerate out of traffic, even though I was empty. I had a hell of a time getting the thing stopped as it was trying to keep moving. When I did get stopped it died quickly and wouldn't start again.
I checked to make sure all my plugs where connected tight under the hood, and they were. The next thing was to unplug the module and plug in the supplied jumper wire to set everything back to stock. Truck fired right up and ran fine the rest of the way to work. I plugged the module back in when I got to work and of course the truck fired right up. Drove it around a little and seemed to be fine.
Anyone got an idea of what may be the problem? Truck has 33k on it and have not had so much as a cough before today.
