Speedo cable
Good morning all...small question. I read some time ago that the "wandering speedometer" was generally caused by a dry speedo cable. How do I lubricate that? From the speedo end or the transmission end? What do I lubricate it with? I'm not very concerned about the wandering, just don't want the cable to seize.

There are little adapters that allow you to hook a grease gun up to the tranny end but I think the best way is to disconnect that end and pull it out the speedo end and clean and lube it with white grease.
Sometime the speed head unit needs cleaning or demagnetising.
