I'm a newbie here and would like to thank everyone for their help and input. I have a 2005 F250 powerstroke turbo diesel 4x4, I use it for work and regularly pull a bobcat with it, with no problems. However when the bed is loaded with heavy materials the rear end sits down somewhat. My question is what can I do to beef up the rear suspension? I'm looking for the biggest bang for my buck, any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I'd weigh what your putting in the bed before jumping to mods - if your springs are sagging it usually means you have alot of weight in there, more than the GVW of the truck probably, especially if your towing a trailer.
If the weights are all OK then F350 blocks is a cheap popular option, followed by airbags. Just remember, its a F250, not a F750
If your F-250 already has the factory overload (auxiliary) springs installed, adding the F-350 blocks will put the truck to just about level when loaded up and with the Bobcat attached. To install the blocks you will need both the blocks and a set of longer u-bolts.
Airbags or Timbrens would work well if your truck does not have the overload springs. I ran airbags in my last F-250 and they worked well.
