How often do you wash your bed sheets?

General AUTOMOTIVE Discussion lol.

Umm...yeah about 3 weeks. A lot earlier if I come home muddy, dirty, etc and tired one night and can't motivate myself to shower first...then they get washed the next day.

Strange strange question indeed...

Depends on the average temperature, relative humidity and dew point over the mean time the sheets are installed, the time spent as well as the activities taking place in said sheets... but definitely not longer than 3 weeks.

This is an odd question indeed, especially since it is being asked in the "General Automotive Discussion" forum. To answer though, my wife washs our sheets once a week.

Talking

I hope the OP wasn't refferring to a sheet in the bed of his truck...
As goofy as this feels ... Here... I'll answer... 1-2x a week (at home) While here in Korea, they get changed everyday... since i've been in a hotel since Nov.-Dec. of '05. (gotta fly home every 90days for 8days)

*Maybe a trusty moderator or admin. will come along shortly and putt this over to Gnac?

Every Saturday, every bed gets stripped and changed like clockwork. Comforters and blankets once a month.

My brother once went 6 months without changing his sheets while we were sharing an apartment. Those things were stank nasty. The washer almost refused to take them.

Rumpled sheets...I hate that! I have a similar problem with mine, it's slightly odd-sized and I just can't find sheets that fit it right. I use packing tape (that thin, brown, 2-inch wide plastic stuff) to tape the sides of the bottom sheet to the mattrees to keep it taut. (Okay, so I'm a little **** about it!)

Oh, and they get changed whenever I feel that they need it. I won't say how long I've let it go in my younger days, but mymechanic'sanidiot's brother and I would probably have gotten along real well...

My wife does them when she thinks they need done, probably every two weeks. Myself they would probably get done once they didn't pass the smell test aymore, and I have a horrible sense of smell!

Nothing like rolling around in fresh clean crisp sheets.
I have, invested in 600-800 thread count sheets. I'm up to five sets now. And I change them every Sunday when I do laundry.
