If you have the 352 V8, it should be an easy swap using the tranny crossmember you already have. Grab the trans to crossmember mount from the C6 to reuse, just to be sure...

>i have the 390 is it still the same?
The 352 360 and 390 blocks are the same. There are minor differences in them from earlier and later castings, and car heads were higher compresion than truck heads generally, but the blocks have identical bolt patterns. Your C-6 from any of the FE engine family will bolt right up to the block.
Fatpaul: Make sure you get the right bolt pattern for your engine. The C-6 is used in a lot of Ford applications, but the casings differ.
1. Bolt patterns for the FE series are the same: 332, 352, 360, 361 (T), 390, 391(T), 406, 410, 427, 428, 429.
2. Bolt patterns for the 351W series are the same.
3. Bolt patterns for the 289/302 are the same.
4. Tailshafts differ, depending upon application.
Good luck!
Just to go a step further. Small block C-6s fit 240/300 sixes, 289s ('65 and up), 302s, 351Ws and 351Cs. The other bolt pattern you didn't mention is the one that fits 351M/400M and the 429/460 engines.
