replacing every fluid
i am gonna replace every fluid this coming weekend in my 79 f250
i have a d60 rear, d44 front, borg warner 4 speed and possibly a BW transfer case i have to clean it up a bit to tell for sure.
now the manual says for the rear 6pts of 90w, and the tranny 7-8pts 140w
what would be the best brand and weight to add? is dino better then synthetic and vice versa?
i used mobil 1 in my last truck, and it worked good as far as i know. i used to use royal purple and mobil 1 in my cars, but i may switch over to Amsoil since it is supposed to be the best.
