They had a 3 spd for 6cyl, a 3 spd for V-8 (hd) and a 4 sp (granny low), and a 3 sp OD, and a Fordomatic (3 sp)
Other than the short tailshafts and the 1 3/8" input shaft, and bearing retainer, the trannys are the same as the passenger car. If your truck has been converted to a passenger car tranny, then the passenger car tranny may have had the input shaft for a truck installed, or it had to have a shorter bellhousing to use the passenger input shaft. Since no passenger car had mounts on the bellhousing, it may have been a conversion bellhousing no longer made. Not knowing which you have, makes further recommendations impossible. However, if, when pulling out your tranny, you find the passenger car input shaft, you are free to use a Ford Top Loader, a BW T-10, a passenger car OD, or any passenger car three speed, particularly the 3.03 all synchro three speed.
I would advise you to get a Service Manual by Ford for your truck since it lists all the trannys and engines originally installed in your truck.
There's also a Clark 5-speed which according to the parts book mates to the same bellhousing as the 4-speed manual. Those were installed on bigger truck models. There was an OD version, but good luck finding any of those. Still, with the regular 5-speed you could run a lower ratio rear-end and get the same effect as an overdrive in 5th.
