Kill the auto door lock??
I am a long time Ford truck guy but my "new to me" 2001 explorer has that stupid "lock the door when you go" thing. What do I do to disable that without killing the door locks.
I would also like to kill the seatbelt donger too but one thing at a time.

There is a sequence that you have to do with the key or remote or something. Have you looked in your owners manual? I think it tells how to do it in there, if not one of our tech will surely know. you might pm bowtiehatr--he's a diesel tech, but I'm sure he knows, or vloney. he's a 31 yr master tech.
