Question speed density question

I have a 93 f150 with a 5.0 and I want to add a throttle body spacer and true dual exhaust. Will simple mods such as these be compatible with my speed density system?

no, i have true duals on my '91 f150 doesn't have any effect. i think the throttle body spacers are a waste of money. my neighbor had one on his '92 with the 5.0 and he said there was very little if any improvement. but it's your choise. what ever you decide to do. good luck!

TB spacer came after the carb spacers, which do work. TB spacer is bullshick, all it does is 'kind of' increase plenum size, which is plenty big on a 5.0L truck intake as it is. There are a few SD friendly cams out there, theres also an ignition mod you can do....getting a high output coil, thicker wires, regapping you plugs, and bumping the timing to 13.5* which is supposed to give you some good performance gains.
The only things that affect SD are when you change the amount of air and fuel going into the engine.

Thanks for the input guys. I'll probably skip the spacer, but i might look into upgrading the ignition.
