air pipe
I have a 1996 ford f-150 with a 4.9/five speed, I love the thing but I have one problem. I have a pretty bad exhaust leak. I believe it is from where the air pipe comes down to the pipe in between the the two cats. it is fairly rusty and appears to be cracked. I'm pretty sure it is not a gasket becuase it only makes the fluttering sound under a load(like taking off or going up a hill)and not at a idle. Have any of you had this problem or can point me in the right direction. thank you in advance.

i had the same problem on mine what i did is i put a pipe where it would of come down bc mine rusted out where it connected to the crossover pipe. like i said i put a pipe in there and welded it all together and now i have no leak
