Lowering Front End

Ok my front end on my 65 F-100 is just to high, What is the easiest way to to lower ....Thanks

Lowering Front End

Use dropped spindles in the front and shackle and hanger kits in the rear. Dropped spindles keep front end geometry correct unlike shortened springs.

I've never seen dropped spindles for a Ford. You have to use dropped I-beams. DJM, Belltech, and a few others make them. For the back, you can relocate your spring hangers for a mild drop. For a wild drop, you can C-notch your frame and mount the rear over the top of your springs.

How about Eaton Detroit Spring? They make srings to replace factory ones that will lower ride height.

Do you have any extra specific info on relocating the spring supports in the back for lowering? I would be interested in trying this sometime when ready...

Lowering Front End

Dropped I beams are the way to go. These front ends do not use ball joints, there are king pins used to hold the ends together. plan to replace these too..
