Fabtech lift questions

Has anyone here bought and installed the Fabtech 3.5 hanger lift on their EX? The kit discription says it comes with 2 inch blocks to level out the rear. The question I have which none of the internet sales people can tell me, are the blocks supposed to be stacked with the factory 2.5 inch blocks, or are the blocks that come in the kit 2 inches over stock (4.5"). The reason I'm asking this is because there is already the factory lift block and the arm that comes out for the bump stop, if i add a 3 block its going to look like a stack of legos. I'm also considering the Superlift 3" lift which replaces the front springs rather than hangers, but I would like to retain the stock ride quality. Any input is appreciated...Thanks.

Don't take it to the bank, but on one of the Fabtech kits you have to modify the drivelines. Keep your eyes open.

What year? 99-00, 01+ f250 have different rear blocks and I imagine the X does too. You will need to add the block to level the rear.

The Fabtech kit directs you to stack the rear blocks. The factory block is retained to keep the pinion angle near correct. You can seperately order a single block kit to avoid the lego look but you must remember to get it with the correct pinion angle (either built in or via a shim) otherwise you may get a vibration.

Spend the cash and do a all spring lift it gets rid of the body roll but firms up your ride, and it gets rid of the leaning tower of blocks on the rear axel ........
