Front Bumper Brackets
Ok, an other stupid question. I am trying to put together a jigsaw puzzle. I started looking at the front bumper and realized I need some sort of brackets. I have a 68 F250 4X4. Could some one let me know if they are available out on the open market. I looked through all the "stuff" I brought home when I bought the truck, but found nothing that resembled the bracets I need. If all else fails I could start searching the wreaking yards, but that would be a lucky shot.

The f250 4x4 did use a bracket to bolt on the bumper. I remember reading some where that the 2wd f350's use the same bracket. Have seen them on ebay before also. Hope this helps your search. I've often thought about cutting the front of a 2wd frame and using the pieces to make the brakets. Good luck

Anyone know where to find reproduction rear brackets for a '72 F-100 Styleside? I've got an aftermarket safety bumper that looks like hell and I want to replace it with original. Macs, Blue Oval, etc. sell the bumper, but no brackets?

For my 70 I just went to a junk yard I think it was Roccos in Santa Ana CA and he looked in one of those huge cross reference books and said he had a ton of them, they werent the correct bracket but off of another Ford and worked perfectly. Any how junk yard is the best bet, good luck.
