body drop

Has anyone ever did a body drop on a slick; and kept the suspension orginial?
Send numerous post doing drop I beam's & C notch rear's, but no body drop's.

I considered it but the torque box on my uni would be very challenging.

Yes

Joey (slick 60s) tried it an the body went out the door as misc parts.

It is difficult to do.

I hear ya on the level of difficult, I have a friend that did a body drop on his 39 dodge pickup, looks Old School Rat rod all the way; just wondering; if possible with a slick. I got a donor 66 swb, i'm going to do alot of fabrication someday to it, going to make it into a roadster style, with a removal hard top. Havn't figure out if door glass stay's or toss. I will beable to use the cab top as the top for bad weather days'. Just thought I throw it out there to see if its been done successful.
