Question

Well the short answer is yes, but the Question is Why do you want 8 lug wheels and 14" x 1.25" rotors with double piston calipers and a center link that will not fit your steering box pitman arm? F-250 w/ 6900 & up and F-350 are bigger than F-100/ 150 take, even theough you can get the spindles & brackest to fit, the rotors & steering parts are way BIG.

By using F-100, F-150 PDB set up it's a bolt up turn key compatable upgrade without hassles like incorrect sizes, no fit ancillary components, etc.

What you need will depend on how you want to do the swap. Some folks swap twin I beams & all, and others swap fron the king pins outward, both ways will work. that will take care of the wheel portion, next you will need the disc master cylinder, or Power Disc master cyl & booster, the dual front brake hard & flex lines, the proportioning valve for the application you're using, the correct lever to M-Cyl or Booster Push Rod, & I always get & adapt a 73-up, contact type, brake light switch that works off brake pedal inside & under the dash.

They light brake lights when you touch the pedal, before you apply pressure. With D/B or PD/B you begin stopping when you apply enough pressure to light a "wet type" PSI activated brake light Switch. @ 60 mph you cover 88 ft a second, sometimes that guy behind you needs that second to get stopped. The touch style switch provides them that extra time. . . .

Thanks for the info. I just had the chance to get the equipment for nothing and didn't know that it was 8 lug. I will keep my eye out for a F-150 that crashes by like the F-350 did. I just want disc brakes and keep it easy to install. You had stated that some change the Twin I-Beam. Do i have to or can i just do the king pins along with the spindles?

Either = Or, it's up to you.

If you run into any mis fit problems with the King Pins the easy solution is with the whole assy. Generally there are no problems, but that does not guarentee you will have none. . . Use King Pins that agree with the Twin I beams because that's where the tapered lock pin is located.

Most of the time it's just a simple "R&R", or remove & replace procedure. . .
