Front leaf question
My first question is can i add a leaf to the pack to gain a leveling affect? I have a set of 2004 Chevy 1 ton leafs. I found the appropriate leaf to fit in that pack but it is 2.5 inch and my springs are 3 inch. Is this possible?
Second question is i was at a junkayrd recently and noticed that the leaf packs off of a 95 F-250 diesel had more arch and more leafs perpack. Would it be possible to swap the packs directly?
Thirdly, i've noticed that F-350s from the years upuntil the superduty with the 460 all have a taller stance out front. Is this due to higher spring rates? More arch? Or is it due only to the D60?
IF none of these ideas are workable please give me any suggestions on raising the front end of my pickup 1-2.5 inches.
This question affects all of the above, If i were to disconnect the leaf springs either at the eyes or at the axel would have to get an alignment done? What about just disconnecting one side then the other? Or possible methods of holding the axel in place?
Thanks in advance,

You could get the leafs, (if they fit) rear blocks and U bolts off the 350 and buy the brackets from jcw and maybe save a little cash.
And yes you will have to get an alignment if you raise it any. you'll have to lengthen your tie rods.
