injectors?

injectors?

I took off my plenum injectors and throtle body. I went to put them back on today. The injectors are leaking. The back passenger and the second one back on the driver side. How do Install them so i dont have leaks? I dont want to blow up.

Did you swap in new o-rings ? I lube mine when I install . Usually no problems . But I did mine 2 weeks ago and have a leaker too. O well another weekend of on play.

I wouldn't even bother doing the job unless I had a set of new o-rings to go in. 10 time outta 9, you'll nick them when pulling them out of the intake or the fuel rail. Unfortunately, I've also learned the hard way, if you're gonna pull 'em, CLEAN 'em. That's a lotta work to go through only to find you still have a lean-burn miss. Check E-Bay for mrinjector. They offer full kits including new pintle caps to go on the injectors, at a reasonable price.
