Inner tie rod replacement
Hey guys, has anyone here ever had to replace their inner tie rod? I think my drivers side one might be going bad and I was wondering how difficult it is to change it. Do you have to remove the rack and pinion, or does it simply unscrew from the rack itself.

If you look up the part on rockauto.com they usually have a pic of the part. I believe most of them do unscrew from the rack but you need a special tool to loosen it which is basically an elongated socket. You can probably 'rent' the tool for free from the zone.
