error message on Radio

error message on Radio
Hey everyone, first time post here. Have a question about error message on radio. About every 3rd time when truck starts I have a read out on radio that says "mech err" it blinks about 4 times and goes away. Anybody else seen this and if you have is it a problem with the radio or something else. Thanks for your help. great site. VHOLT 00x, V10 all stock 110000 miles best truck I ever owned.

Hmmm...that's weird! Anything that displays on the radio is soley for the radio function(s). It is not telling you of something wrong with another system of the vehicle.
Do you have the CD changer in the center console?
