Trans 4R100 compatability
Is the 4R100 Trans in the '99 -'03 Superduty Diesel the same one in the V10's. Or,..... can I put a trans from a 2000 V10 into a '99 -'03 Diesel? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

They are both 4R100s, but the cases are different. The bolt pattern for a diesel is different than the bolt pattern for a V10. Plus some of the internals in the V10 are not as strong as the diesel, but that's a minor point, seeing as it won't bolt up.
