[updated:LAST EDITED ON 07-Aug-02 AT 10:59 PM (EST)]i just bought a 1979 F-250 Ranger XLT with a 460/auto. it only has 66,000 original miles. it is 2 wheel drive, a SuperCab, has the factory towing package, fac. air, interior is perfect condition, and the body is fair. i was wondering what it was worth. there are a few pictures of it in my gallery. i only paid $950 for it and all it needed was a coil. was that a good deal? i jumped on the offer when i saw it. the main reason being, i already has a 79 f150 supercab with 171000 miles which was pretty rough. i paid 500 for that and it was totally option-less.

Where did you find this increadible deal? I've been looking for '70-'73, or a '77-'79 F-150 or F-250 for the past couple of months and have only come across junk priced at $1,600. and above. Anything that runs ok, has limited rust, and hasn't been well maintained is $2,000. +. Anything that's been taken care of is $3,000. +. I can tell you that Seattle is NOT the place to find a reasonably priced truck.
