Radio/Clock Turn On Delay
When I get in my 2006 F250 XL Reg Cab 4X4 in the morning the clock and radio do not turn on for about 1.5 to 5 minutes. The cooler it is the longer it takes to come on. Before I take it in to the dealer, I thought that if someone has a quick, cheap suggestion that I would try it. The radio is the most basic AM/FM radio that Ford sells. Everything is factory original and it has no power windows, locks, etc. It's pretty stripped down.
I have tried the delay acc relay but it didn't change the problem.
I appreciate any suggestions.

Otherwise, the next thing to do is unplug it, and in the morning check to see if the plug coming from the harness has power. If it does, then it must be something in the radio. It would be way cheaper to buy a new aftermarket radio than get Ford to fix yours if that turns out to be the problem.
It's going to be a pain for the dealer, because they will have one chance in the morning to troubleshoot it, and then once it starts working, the troubleshooting is over. So they will either guess and then give it back to you, or they will have to have the truck for several mornings till they get it figured out.
