Smile Hello there ppl :)

I signed up a few weeks ago when i was shopping for a ford truck, i just picked up a 1998 f150 XL V6 ext cab with short bed, dark blue, bedliner, 280K km. As it is my first truck I might have a lot of questions once i start driving it. For now the only question is where do i find out what ratio is it? would that be coded in my VIN? ohh also looking for a used cap for it white black or dark blue is there any place in GTA that would sell used ones? Thanks in advance on any advice you might have for me

Hi and welcome to FTE! You should check out the 97-2003 F-150 forum. Someone there will be able to help you. This forum is more for Ontario topics as well as general "chit-chat". We try to leave the "tech talk" in the other applicable forums.

Read this for some info that will help you around the site: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...92&postcount=2

Welcome to FTE !!!!!!

Look for truck caps in the Tri Ad paper. It comes out every Thursday.
You say that this is your first truck. I always thought that VOLVOs were as tuff as trucks !!!!
Have a real good look around this site. There's info everywhere including little hiddy spots. Any time you see something different, click on it. Finding all the information packed into this site is like trying to reach the end of the internet, there's so much of it.
Enjoy !!!
AL.
