cps toast?

I barely made it home. Could barley idle and got to 1500 rpm on occassion.
It seemed if I relieved the pressure in the fuel filter bowl I could go a few miles.

facts
Not out of gas.
I have a 3 month old IH BLACK CPS.
Changed fuel filter when I got home and there was pressure o plenty as I enscrewed the cap and got fuel spraying. so the fuel pump is ok.
1999 7.3 kwik new exhaust, hpx , been smooth except for a bypass issue whish never became one. Intake mods seemed to go ok. not many other conflicting mods. she ran like a champ todaypouring black smoke on some rice burners on the freeway.

SOOOOO WTF?

A cps should last longer than the original one eh?
I have the original but had a tough time with the upgrade(LOL) as I have big hands to cram between the fan and engine.

arghhh what does IH do for warranty?

OK I have cooled off.

sip sip

CPS?

I don't have any answers for you, but I am dying to find out what your problem is. So I thought I would throw it up to the top again for us. I think I my have a similar problem as well.

bad fuel i think. The tank was low and was probably picking up all the water and junk.
I did have a healthy amount of DK at the time.
I wish i had a secondary tank so I can run bio all the time.
Running strong again.
