caster shim

Pulling out my front springs today, I found that I have caster shims under them. Is there any way of telling what degree shims they are? Maybe measure the back edge? I dont have a protractor or any of those fancy architect rulers

Use a magnetic angle indicator while holding the shim on a surface you know to be either plumb or level. Angle indicators can be picked up for about $10 at most parts places.
