I did a search last night and found info about the turn signal flasher on my fuse box in my 1991 f150. My signals are dead, but my hazzards work. So, today I replaced the turn signal flasher on my fuse box and the signals are still dead. Any ideas of what I need to fix next and where I can find it? Thanks for the great info guys, I've fixed a lot on here by searching the past posts.
I checked my brake lights and tail lights this evening and they both work. I should also add that the green arrows for the signals in the truck do not blink either when I try to signal.
I don't know what it could be then if you already changed the flasher. That sounds like it should be the problem. I'm sure someone else on here will know though!
have had alot of problems with turn signal switches if the emerg flash switch is on top of
the column spray some wd40 down into the switch and keep pressing the flasher switch up and down very fast. debree seems to colect up there and the contacts get dirty.if this works but only for awhile replace turn switch .also the flasher and turn are on seperate fuses thetop fuses are hard to see in the fuse box unless you stick your head
way down to see them
