Installed T/C lockup switch

Installed T/C lockup switch yesterday(free because of wire and switch and other spare partsd lyin around), boy does it ever make a difference when I step on it!! It chirps the tires pretty good when it shifts into 2nd on the econo tune!! One thing I noticed when I did the switch is that my O/D light does NOT come on when the switch is on like some of you guys have had happen to you. But then I did notice that the O/D button does not work either.

Havn't heard of that one before. Does the OD button work when the switch is off?

No, I tried it both on and off but to no avail. Don't really remember if it was functional before the mod or not. I really don't tow a whole lot so I dont think it will be an issue.

Might want to check your fuses. You may have popped one during the install. I'm not sure which fuse it is but on my old 92 F250 is was a 20 amp and when the OD wires shorted to the column, it took the tach out too.

Ha, thats funny! I didn't even think to check the fuse, this always happens I over analyse the problems and 8/10 times it IS just the fuse, lol
