Unless your a wireing geniuss, go for the idi with a turbo. All you need basically is a throttle cable and a couple of positive wire connections. A power stroke is fly by wire, computor controlled. (probably 100 wires to splice in, an injector driver that fires the injectors, also steps up voltage to 100 volts dc) In my opinion get the idi, work at you job all the extra hours you would save not splicing wires and use the extra money to buy an after market turbo, at that point the hp will be similar. Just my 2 cents

Lol, I'm not sure the extra hours at work would be required. I'm willing to bet the IDI and turbo would cost about the same or slightly less than a PS.

if you can find a doner vehicle then go for that. You dont have to cut or splice jack **** the wiring harness comes out in one piece.

Yea the one I did started that easy but by the time you completely disassemble both cabs to bare bones to fish the wires out of all the nuks and crannies, drill all the new holes in the other cab and fish everything back in is a time consuming pain in the but, or at least it was for me. I only did a gas to idi swap!!!
