[updated:LAST EDITED ON 29-Nov-01 AT 01:49 PM (EST)]I've got a bead on two of them, but I'd like more. They're from a '64 f250. I'm going to have Stockton Wheel cut off the outer portion and replace with non-split. I'm trying to maintain stock as much as practical. I don't particularly care about the condition of the bead surface/retainer ring (and I don't care if there is no retainer ring) since it's going anyway. I very much care that the hubcap retainer dimples be facing inward as that's the design that keeps what I've got in there now.
I've heard of a lot of them that have been bulldozed under, sent to the landfill and all that. I just want some I can actually get my paws on. Thanks for any leads.

i am likewise looking for 16" split rims, 6 bolt pattern, for a 1965 F350; if you find a source, i'd appreciate your letting me know, and i'll do the same for you; thanks and good luck!
I also have a 1965 f-350 dual wheel with 7.50x16 split rims. They used a couple of different diameters for the splits such as 7.50x17.5 but they are all hard to find. If you have a salvage yard close you could check there but be VERY CAREFUL, because most of the rims are rusty where they riveted together. I think their was a fellow member who had some of these for sale a while back.I have 6 on my truck with 3 spares and it was hard enough to find these living in NJ. Good luck!!
I have a 65 f350 dual wheel dump truck with split rims. I NEED to find wheels to replace the split rims. I want to use this truck for a lawn service and need to mount radial tires on it. I also would like to know about changing over to 8 lug rims from the 6 lug that I have.
ANY help in this will free up 3 GOOD split rims for the front 2 on truck and 1 extra with a very good tire. I am on vacation in Las Vegas and I dont remember the size but Im sure they are 16's I will be back in eastern PA next week. I will be checking for mesages till then
thanks
I have 5 16 inch 8 x 6.5 split rings rims that I will be getting rid of in the near future. I am in the process of trying to find some replacements that will accept the 7.50 x 16 tall skinny or similiar tires ( i love the old nylon bias tires). If there are any members that can point me in the right direction for finding said replacements will free this rims up quicker. Thanks. fyi I am located in Florence, Alabama.
