Well, I cannot tell you where to get one, but I took mine apart. I found the flexible strip had broken, so I just soldered it back together.
You won't be any worse off if you don't try looking inside it.
Just be gentle with the **** you must bend back to open up the little case.

Banjo piker huh?I play also.
I took it out of the truck and one tab was already missing.The little part with the contact was hanging up on the fins and i never could get it to work smooth.I put my ohm meter to it and it jumped all over as i SLOWLY moved the float.
What to do?
