i have a tymar 4" exhaust and the muffler is a straight through design. similar to a cherry bomb. it has all the little holes on the inner wall but the inside diameter is 4" with absolutely no restrictions.
i need to get someone to drive it while i record. sounds pretty wicked.
Try the straight pipe first I love the way it sounds I don't think its to loud. Mine exits infront of the right rear tire with the windows down it just sounds good with the air on and the windows up its not that much louder inside than stock. Two of my friends here in the AR Chapter also run straight pipes one exits the stock location the other one has duals exiting behind the rear wheels and they both sound good.
i tried to talk the wife into driving along side me on the freeway and recording but she wouldnt. if you turn it up you can hear it all pretty good. also my wife calling me a di$% because she got a little smoke.
exhaust video here it sounds different under other circumstances like cruising one speed and at higher rpms.
i need two of me to accomplish this video correctly.
