Problems with this site
I have this site in a 'Favorites' file with about a dozen others. I have DSL and connect in an instant with any site but this one. When I click on it, if it loads, it may take a minute or more and about 50% of the time I get an error message. Also, since logging onto this site, when I visit other web pages, I, occassionally, get a 'Pop Up' about an error and sending a message to Win2k. My pc has only had these problems since I logged on here. Has anyone else had any Internet Explorer problems since logging on here? Does anyone know if I need to change any settings? I really like this forum, but I've narrowed the problems down to here and have to resolve this problem.

I have noticed that this site is a little slower to load than others but I attirbute that to the number of FTE's logged in at any given time. The error pop up sounds more OS related as there is nothing non standard on this site except the active X for uploading pics. If you are using IE7 beta uninstall it and download the newest version. If still using 6 give 7 a try its on beta 3 now and very stable..but the tabbed browsing makes this forum easy to keep track of

IIRC, becoming a supporter also connects you to the site via a different server that does provide a faster connection speed. While FTE may load a little slower than some pages, I don't notice it to be excessively slow.

One of the computers that run this site went belly up and had to be replaced. It's been fixed now and you should have no more problems.
