One of my 69's don't shift at all something is broken between the lever and the twin shift rods.
I know I'll have to inspect for myself but I was wondering if anyone knows where I should start looking, any majior problem areas. When I asked the former owner he looked sincerly surprised.
I bought this truck at auction and asked the seller afterwards so I don't know why he wouldn't tell me if he knew about this.

take a look from the underside and have someone try to shift it while you watch , look for two metal rods it may just need addustment if nothing moves then I would take off the steering wheel and start working my way down to the shift colar this is where the two metal rods get all the movement. hope this was any help for ya, its just hard to see from here if you know what I mean
